But I’m not a programmer and opinions may differ and that’s cool. It’s not Left 4 Dead y know? I don’t think we should have to wait for teammates when we reach the end either. It’s just, I think if enemies could kill you by simply catching you twice, if there were less health pickups, and less enemies overall, it would be scarier and funner.Īlso, rather than being able to be revived… just let us die instead. It makes it feel a bit too much like an action game. My issue is that there are too many enemies, too little suspense-building breathing room in levels, and everyone has too much health. I grew up playing Clock Tower on Playstation when I was a little kid. And I love games like this games like Outlast, Visage, Soma and Alien Isolation are my jam. I like it, but in its current state, from what I played, it is not as scary as Outlast 1 or 2. I find this game to be a lot more chases and less suspense building than the other Outlasts. Did the prologue, and then the Fun Park mission (which glitched out and “failed” at the very end of the entire mission). I only played about an hour and 15 minutes so far.

The difficulty was fine but I think the game would be massively improved by getting rid of the radio chat and only having proximity chat, and making it so enemies can hear you when you talk into the mic.

Edit - played another trial, this time with a speaking teammate.
